This stone is initially extracted in the form of Block from a multitude of marble quarries and then is processed in the forms of Slab and Tile in the stone processing factories. This stone is among the old Iranian marbles in the market and so it holds a special status for the interior designers and architects in the markets.
The color tone of Salsali marble is white in the superior sorts along with some delicate curve lines all throughout the background. In the lower degrees of the sorts, the background color of the stone turns into pink with thicker curve lines. Due to the insignificant water absorption as well as strong mechanical parameters, Salsali marble has been widely used in a various range of applications including the interior veneer and also flooring.
