CTS Block

How is a CTS block manufactured?

In order to manufacture decorative objects including vases, pillars, balusters, ... from natural stones, it is a requirement to to cut CTS block in specific dimensions in order for the CNC machines to cut the objects from. The cutting process is performed by the machine on the basis of a designing plot. The CTS block is a cubic stone that the six sides are perpendicular to each other. The CTS block is cut by means of a single-disk cutting machine out of an initial raw Block . According to the type of the stone, CTS block can be manufactured from Travertine, Marble I, Onyx, Granite, Limestone, Tra-Onyx and Marble II .

What are the pre-requirements for manufacturing CTS block?

In case the initial block contains frequents sets of risky cracks, it is necessary to primarily reinforce the whole block with vacuum technique and epoxy resin in order to assure the integrity of the block in the process of CNC production.

Packaging

In order to transport the CTS blocks, it is recommended to firmly position the blocks onto the special wooden palettes, reinforced with anchoring belts around. This special palettes could be loaded with lift trucks easily.

QC operations

Primarily, there needs to wash all the sides and faces of the Block in order to precisely identify the critical cracks inside the fabric and analyze everything that affects the design for the cutting process on the Block .

It is also a requirement in QC to inspect the CTS block after production in order to confidently verify the structural integrity of the block. It is also necessary to accurately measure the sizes and the tolerances and then to design the best possible palette for packaging and transporting. This is exactly where we should make a decision on the necessity for reinforcing the block through vacuum process before performing any CNC works on the block.

The company Noavaran Sang Arya as a leading and prominent company in the realm of natural stone QC, is readily capable of taking full responsibility of the natural stone projects on the basis of a productive cooperation with a great variety of contractors in order for sourcing and procurement of any range of natural stones.
